What is Relevant Leadership College (RLC)?

Relevant Leadership College is a leadership program designed for anyone who feels a calling on their life to pursue full-time ministry. It is also for anyone who is seeking to increase their faith and grow as a leader in any sphere of influence in their life. We will help you take necessary steps to move from where you are to where God wants you to be.

How long is RLC?

This program is designed to be one full academic year. Upon invitation, a second year is available. New class enrollment opens at the beginning of the fall semester. The total program is broken up into four, 3-module semesters.

When does the program start?

The Fall Semester begins in the third or fourth week of August. The Spring Semester begins the first full week of January. Open Enrollment for the Fall Semester ends mid July.

How long does each semester last?

Semesters are typically 15-18 weeks with one to two breaks in the sessions.

What does the schedule look like?

Generally, class meets from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM EST on a week night virtually or in-person. Due to special circumstances some classes will be held on Saturdays. Participants will attend monthly leadership nights, serve during our regular weekend services on Sunday, and will also be encouraged to serve during our Outreach events, Church-wide events, Easter and Christmas services.

Can I participate even if I have a job?

With classes meeting one night a week and sometimes on Saturday mornings, RLC is designed to accommodate even the working professional, parent or full time learner.

Can we come as a married couple?

Yes, we allow married participants as long as their spouse is in full agreement of the decision.

Is there an age limit?

Relevant Leadership College is currently open to participants 19 and above.

What is the cost of books/materials for each semester?

Materials and technology costs are included in the tuition. Books and events and conferences will be the responsibility of the student.

Can I be put on a payment plan?

Payment plan options are available, however, complete tuition payment is required in order to graduate from the program. Once you’ve received your enrollment acceptance, you will be provided multiple payment plan options.

What is the application fee?

There is a $25.00 application fee collected as part of the initial application process. It covers the administrative costs associated with processing applications for enrollment.

How long do I have to wait for a decision?

Upon receiving your completed application, your application will be reviewed by RLC staff. You can expect a response within 10-15 business days.
